Science

  • Chemistry: periodic table analysis, understanding subatomic particles, exploring stoichiometry

  • Making solar ovens

  • Engineering; Building model roller coasters

  • Botany: Plan, prepare and harvest from our community garden plot.

  • Design and build functional Lego robotic models. Test for quality.

  • Erosion models-competition to most effectively prevent erosion of sand by water using various materials

  • Engineering, and building model rockets. Flight testing and iterative rocket design.

  • Explored Biofuels- Built an apparatus to measure the production of CO2 gas

Math

  • Customized math plans for each student that builds upon each individuals level and prior math attainment.

  • Our math curriculum integrates conceptual principals with real world application and project-based learning.
